چکیده

Relevance. Modern livestock breeders face an important task of producing organic products, in Russia this is regulated by the Federal Law “On Organic Products” (from 01.01.2020), it allows producers to enter state register and mark products with “organic” sign. There a problem deterioration quality milk, low content fat, protein, SOMO, deficiency macro-and microelements, vitamins, which associated violation proper feeding animals. The use innovative technologies for activation modification silicon-containing minerals (diatomite zeolite clinoptilolite) enhances their properties. This makes possible them as adsorbent, ion exchanger source readily available silicon other mineral elements produce high-quality products. Methods. To achieve goal, Ulyanovsk region we organized production experience conditions dairy farm “Agrofirma Tetyushskoe” duration 100 days. Three groups 50 cows were formed: 1st — control, received only basic diet (ОR), 2nd experimental (ОR+ supplement based on modified enriched amino acids), 3rd diatomite acids). was given once day, morning mixture mixed feed, input rate 250 g/head/day. For physiological experiment, 5 analog selected group. enrich minerals, complex plant-derived acids high purity biological activity used. Results intake additives natural (zeolite diatomite), processed plant-based acids, increases level animal productivity ensures yield high-quality. It has prolonging effect.

Multiparous Holstein cows (n = 60) were used to determine effects of trace mineral source on oxidative metabolism, subclinical endometritis, and performance of transition cows. After a 1-wk preliminary period, cows were assigned randomly to one of 3 topdress treatments from 21 d before expected calving through 84 d post calving: 1) Inorganic sources based upon sulfates of Zn, Cu, and Mn (ITM); ...

New phenotypes for new breeding goals in dairy cattle.

Cattle production faces new challenges regarding sustainability with its three pillars - economic, societal and environmental. The following three main factors will drive dairy cattle selection in the future: (1) During a long period, intensive selection for enhanced productivity has deteriorated most functional traits, some reaching a critical point and needing to be restored. This is especial...

Breeding and Genetics: Dairy Cattle Breeding I

Humans obtain a number of products from animals. These include food, clothing, medical materials, companionship and research knowledge to name a few. A valued ethic contends that it is inappropriate for one to treat another as a means to an end. In short, it is wrong to treat another as simply a product. Historically, non-human beings have not been included as “others” and thus their treatment ...

Breeding and Genetics: Dairy Cattle

Protein-damaging stresses, including heat shock, cold, altered pH and oxygen deprivation induce the expression of a subgroup of molecular chaperones, called heat shock proteins (Hsp), which consist of several protein families designated by their molecular weight, such as the Hsp90, Hsp70, Hsp60, and the small Hsp (sHsp) families. Small heat shock proteins (sHsp) with a molecular mass of 15–30 k...

Consequences for Dairy Cattle Breeding

Advances in breeding and management resulted in a considerable increase of production traits in Austrian dairy cattle. Besides, low input systems were also established. Possible genotype by environment interactions (G x E) and genetic antagonisms dependent on production level might indicate the need for separate breeding programmes for dairy farms diff ering in management intensity. Th us, G x ...
